Christmas Time Reflections

Verses of Faith Poetry

Walking slowly down a dark solemn street
I chanced to look upon the ground below
And saw as I walked the shimmering ice
Reflecting light as hundreds of tiny stars.
How sad, I thought, that we can no longer see His star.

But we have so much more than they who heralded His birth.
Though the star they saw in the East
Cannot be found in our modern-day sky
We have His life as a light in our lives
Brighter than any star that was or will be.

Walking slowly down a dark solemn street
I chanced to look upon the ground below
And saw as I walked the shimmering ice
Reflecting light as hundreds of tiny stars.
And in my mind I saw my Savior
And rejoiced in the light I have.
